Exercise therapy is a broad term describing the use of exercise as a treatment for a wide range of health conditions. It is simply a physical activity plan prescribed for recovery from any condition designated by a health professional. As human movement experts, kinesiologists are perfectly suited to help their clients become more active or return to activities they love using exercise therapy.

Types of Exercises

Exercise therapy draws on the fundamentals of healthy exercise: movement for the sake of optimizing your body’s function. Agility, balance, range of motion, flexibility, body aesthetics, body composition, strength and aerobics are pillars of physical health.

The PARQ+ determines your readiness for exercise therapy, and recommends seeking guidance from a medical doctor when necessary.

we’ve changed lives

We’ve been doing a combination of online and park workouts with Sioban for the last year. Her flexibility making sure we could workout regardless of when and where as well as dragging weights to the park so we could change up our routine has been greatly appreciated.
